Hello there fellow EX owners, I bought one of these the other day and I like it a lot, I have but one question - when driving on a straight, I find it nigh on impossible to go exactly in a straight line, I'm always slowly veering from side to side - is it meant to do this? Or should I be taking it back to GAME for an exchange? I've tried re-centering the wheel, unplugging it, everything I can think of! So I was just wondering is this meant to do this? I mean I suppose that's realistic, but it gets a bit annoying when I want to keep to one side of the track! Thanks for any help guys, Martin. Thank you for all the comments guys. There's no problem with the force feedback, that works as it should. Unfortunately, the steering adjustment is only available when using the controller port, not the USB port (according to he manual), and so when I hold the mode button for three seconds, nothing happens. It does sound like a a dead zone problem, but there's no settings for the dead zone! I have this problem at low and high speeds, it's not that the wheel itself moves (which it does at high speed), it's just that if I hold the wheel dead centre, my car is actually veering very slightly to one side, so i'll turn it a tiny bit the other way and it'll start veering very slightly to that side, so I can literally never drive in dead straight line (as if you were using a controller and not touching the steering buttons). This might sound silly, but I was half thinking, 'is it meant to do this?' , because a real car doesn't rive in a dead straight lin if you center it's steering wheel (but I think that's taking it a bit far!). Might take this back to GAME for an exchange if any of your guys can confirm that yours don't do this! Thank you for all the comments guys. Logitech Driving Force GtAVForums.com uses cookies.
